Our approach

We are convinced that peat raw materials are, and will remain, an important part of growing media for feeding and greening the world.

However, we are constantly on the lookout for raw materials, available in the right quantity and quality, to serve as sustainable alternatives to peat.

We are proud to have at our disposal an alternative, sustainable substrate constituent that we make ourselves: our wood fiber EcoFibri®. In recent years, EcoFibri® has grown considerably in importance as both a raw material and a constituent for our substrates.

At the same time, we are continuing to meet all statutory requirements for our peat fields in the Baltic region, and are subjecting all of our sites to renaturation measures once peat extraction has ceased, thus enabling new peat growth.
